Pet Peeves Week? – Not Me

So, I heard this week is “Pet Peeve Week.” Seriously. Well, I don’t know about you, but I hear plenty of griping all year long – I don’t know that it needs a whole week of its own. So, to counteract “Pet Peeve Week”, I thought I’d offer up the opposite. A “Count Your Blessings” time, so to speak.

Here goes…

I am beyond thrilled that it’s officially FALL! This is my favorite time of year and I like to celebrate it. I went from my summer hearth to my fall hearth this week.  Fun stuff!!

I love hearing the Hubster call me a badass as he’s looking at my various scars from surgeries. The good news is while I have changed on the outside over the last few years, I have also changed on the inside. I’ve gotten stronger and more assured in who I am.

It’s apple season! My mother came up for supper the other night and brought us a half bushel of local apples. I am stoked to make some apple-y goodness with them – if they last that long.

Have y’all heard of the Rainbow Loom?? Our youngest just got a loom and she’s just enamoured with it! Neatest invention!! If you have a girl in your life age 7 or older, you should check it out. E has made lots of creations with it in just a days!

I’m loving my hair this week. No, I’m not sharing (or shooting) a bathroom selfie with y’all. You’ll just have to take my word for it – it’s a good hair week. Which means my hair won’t do anything next week, right?

And last, for today, I’m loving this nail color. Found this polish on clearance at our local Sally’s and thought it was pretty. (Y’all remember my nail polish storage, right?) I do really like the color, but the polish was not fun to apply – it looked splotchy and kind of weird. I’ll probably keep it and use it again, but it’s not a fun application. I am digging the color though!
